How does a reverse osmosis system work? A reverse osmosis system purifies water by pushing it through a semipermeable membrane that blocks contaminants such as salts, heavy metals, bacteria, and chemicals. Only pure water molecules can pass through, while impurities are left behind and flushed away. It’s ideal for producing high-quality drinking water, free from tastes, odors, and harmful substances.
GRAVEL (Clarifies): Retains and separates solids in water, which are removed by sedimentation.
GARNET (Refines): Refines water by removing medium and fine particles.
CATIONIC RESIN (Softens): Synthetic spheres that purify and soften water by ion exchange.
GRANULAR ACTIVATED CARBON (Filters): Adsorbs organic impurities such as industrial solvents, herbicides, pesticides and trihalomethanes, reduces chlorine, hydrogen, sulfide, lead, mercury, volatile organic compounds; reduces magnesium, chromium, bacteria, algae and fungi.
KDF: (Decontaminant)
Reduces or eliminates chlorine, iron, hydrogen sulfide, lead, mercury, calcium carbonate, magnesium, chromium, bacteria, algae and fungi.
